SMART Volunteer Exercise Instructor

 SMART exercise Volunteers needed:  We will train you to become a certified fitness instructor for our senior (55 yrs and up) and disabled clients in the city of London.  Various times and locations available but want a commitment from you to teach two or more classes a week.  Must attend theory training and 18 hours of practical experience before becoming certified.  First Aid/CPR included.   

Youth Mentor - Male Sports & Outdoor Enthusiast

Did you benefit from having a mentor in your life as a youth? Or did you long for a person to bounce idea's off and help you explore opportunities to build your self-confidence? Student Links, through Community Living Ontario, is looking for mentors that are interested in supporting a youth explore their community, develop skills and explore vocational roles, while learning about themselves! We're currently looking for a male mentor to explore different activities and roles with a high school aged youth! 


Social Recreation Program volunteers

Volunteers are needed to assist with Social Recreation Programs at the Alzheimer Society London & Middlesex. These are programs geared towards clients in the early to mid-stages of Alzheimer's disease and other dementias; a team of trained volunteers work 1:1 with clients to provide social and cognitive stimulation using social and therapeutic recreation activities. Programs are designed to be failure free, collaborative and appropriate for varying ability levels.

Each program has a different theme, including art, cooking, gardening, physical activity and much more.
