The Digital Nonprofit: Using Google Grants & Technology To Drive Organizational Success

Registration is closed for this event
Today, many nonprofit organizations are attempting to find new ways to sustainably attract and retain supporters, donors, volunteers, and event attendees. Often, the first place they look is online. But many nonprofits have struggled to succeed at digital marketing; it’s complex, it’s resource-intensive, they can’t adequately track the results, and it’s expensive.

In order to succeed at marketing within this digital landscape, organizations need to be savvy, have the right system set up, and use technology to their advantage. In this workshop, we will explore how nonprofits can do that through:

Google Nonprofits & Ad Grants

Through TechSoup Canada and Google, nonprofit organizations can gain access to hardware and software discounts, as well as $10,000 USD per month in free advertising. In this workshop, we will walk through how nonprofit organizations can take advantage of these valuable offers.

Making The Most of Your Google Ad Grant

$10,000 USD per month in free advertising is a lot. Yet, the average nonprofit with Google Ad Grants only spends around $350 of that grant each month. We take a look at how to create a strong account structure, ads, and analytics implementation so your nonprofit can spend more of the grant, track the success of your work, and drive valuable users to your website.

Increasing Online Organic Success Through Content Creation

While many people click on paid ads, the majority of Internet users click links within the first five organic search engine results. We will learn more about how to consistently create valuable, engaging content that gets discovered online.

Outcomes

  1. Understand how to apply for, secure, and set up Google Ad Grants

  2. Learn how to set up custom goals in your analytics account to measure marketing performance and promote greater success

  3. Know how to quickly, consistently, and cost-effectively create content that raises search engine rankings and drives support.
