New Beginnings ABI & Stroke Recovery Association
The New Beginnings Club provides social, recreational, educational and leisure opportunities to survivors, caregivers and families impacted by brain injury or stroke.
We provide schedule programs including crafts, exercise, vocational training and educational opportunities. We have a full service woodshop that can be accessed by members. We plan classes and outings outside the Club from time to time, and these may include: horse-back riding, swimming, bowling, special events and picnics, etc.
The Club works to support all survivors and their families to regain empowerment and friendship after their illness/injury. The Club is a non-medical facility that will remind you of your living-room!
In addition to the Club in Chatham, we also have an additional facility located in Sarnia.
