We invite you to come and learn with us in this community conversation!
We no longer want to google our hearts out to learn more about each other, we want real understanding that can only come from talking to each other and sharing real stories. When we get to know the humans behind the statistics, we become more open, more empathetic and the conversations that flow create a ripple effect of inclusion. Knowledge keepers in our community will help us have this conversation.
Through this series you will explore the diversity that makes up our community and the stories that surround us. Together, we will build connections in the pursuit of diminishing the feelings of "otherness". We hope to become a more unified and inclusive group of people that belong to each other and commit to working together to build a more inclusive community.
These sessions all take place over the lunch hour, so please feel free to bring your lunch and nibble while you learn.
