Panel discussion on "Freedom, Then What?" in honour of Black History Month.
In this thoughtful panel discussion, we’ll bring together members of the Black community, museum program designers, and individuals who identify as both Black and visually impaired. What’s it like to inhabit both those worlds? What can we know about the history of Black, visually impaired people in Canada? It’s been a year of difficult and necessary conversations; so let’s keep talking, and most importantly, let’s keep listening.
This will be hosted by Christine Malec with guest panelist Claudette Martin from the Grey Roots Museum and Kelly MacDonald from Kelly & Co.
This group runs via Zoom web conference on February 25 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Eastern Time. Call in information will be given upon registration.
