Education Program Supervisor
For Jr. M.A.P. Progaram (My Action Plan to Education)
School Year Contract
2 Postions available
Monday to Friday 11 am-7 pm, Occasional Weekends
The role requires the successful applicant to:
Develop and implement after school tutoring program for children in grades 4-8.
Supervise, motivate, and coach volunteers, and placement students.
Liase with parents, schools and other organizations
Manage and maintain accurate program statistics, status reports, evaluations and files.
Planning and facilitation of life skills and leadership programs.
Able to work independently with minimal supervision and make independent judgments based on a variey of situations.
Travel to different locations throughout the City of London, as well as in rural areas including Ilderton & Thorndale.
University Degree or College Diploma in Education, Social Work or related field.
Strong working knowledge of MS Office software-Outlook, Work, Excel, etc.
Knowledge of Ontario School curriculum.
Strong background in academic counseling, children engagement, children enpowerment, children leadership and/or children skill development.
Experience working with children from a wide variety of cultural backgrounds, faith, and ethnicities.
Familiar with grant writing.
Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, organizational and facilitation skills.
Experience recruiting, working with and supervising volunteers.
Full G Driver's License required: access to a reliable vehicle is an asset.
High Five Certification in Principles of Healthy Child Development 100 an asset.
Current First Aid & C.P.R. Level C certification required.
Vulnerable Sector Police Clearance issued by local police station required.
Proof of Vaccination for COVID-19 is required.
