Vanier Children’s Mental Wellness, a not-for-profit children’s mental health treatment centre ( ) is recruiting Board Directors.   Vanier has provided quality children’s (Birth-14 yrs) mental health services in London-Middlesex County for over 50 years.  Vanier offers a range of clinical services to 1200 children, and their families, each year.  In 2014, Vanier was named as “Lead Agency” by the Ministry of Children & Youth Services (“Moving on Mental Health”) overseeing planning of child/youth mental health services in Middlesex County.

The organization is interested in recruiting individuals with expertise/experience in the following areas: 

(a)   Government Relations Management

(b)   Finance

(c)   Legal

(d)   Education

(e)   Health Care/Social Services

(f)    Business Administration

(g)   Risk Management

(h)   Marketing & Communications

Vanier Children’s Services is expressly interested in broadening its Board membership to include Youth, Culturally Diverse Groups, Rural Experience/Residency, Indigenous Peoples, Francophone-Identified individuals.  Consumers of child/youth mental health services interested in a Board governance role, including education and advocacy, are invited to apply. Previous Board experience is an asset.
