Position Description

SARI Therapeutic Riding is currently recruiting Board Members for the April 2019 to March 2021 term (with opportunity for renewal).Board Members play an integral role in the governance of SARI, ensuring responsible fiscal, program and H.R. management.

Board Members participate on standing board committees as well as on an annual event committee.  They are key ambassadors for the organization leveraging their personal and professional networks for philanthropic support and involvement with fundraisers.

The monthly time commitment is approximately 5-10 hours per month, depending on level of engagement (e.g. Officer position, special projects etc.).

Skills Preferred

Legal, H.R., Accounting, Project Management, Fund Development, therapeutic backgrounds are always beneficial. "Right-brained" individuals will nicely compliment the aforementioned skill sets as will those with an interest in equines or disabilities.
