The Canadian Centre for Men and Families runs a Legal Assistance Clinic that provides access to family law and criminal law lawyers for families that face barriers accessing legal support. We are looking to appoint volunteers for two different functions.

We are looking for lawyers to provide pro bono family law or criminal law advice and support through our weekly legal clinic.  Lawyers are required to volunteer a minimum of one 2-hour session per month, although more frequent participation is encouraged.

Our legal clinic provides clients with resources, tools. guidance and information to assist in navigating the legal system.  The legal clinic does not provide legal representation.

The Canadian Centre for Men and Families is a unique new facility operating as a mental health and social service hub for boys, men, fathers and their families.  We provide free counselling and therapy, support groups, legal assistance, mentorship, father involvement programs and services for victims of domestic abuse.  Visit our website at
