The Circles London program aims to partner with community members who are currently experiencing barriers of poverty to move forward and meet their identified goals.  The ultimate goal is econmic self-sufficency, which is done through a participant led program, identified goals, removing complex systemic barriers and providing resources neccesary to get there. 

This volunteer role is a one night a week commitment to connect with our community.  We are looking for volunteers who are further along in their career path who can support, and lend their expereince to those looking to obtain and maintain great careers.  These voluneers (allies) will join program particpants at our weekly Circles meetings which happens over zoom currently.  We also have small outdoor physical distanced meetings.  

At Circles, we work collaboratively to assist Leaders with accessing necessary resources and we have discussions about how to remove complex systemic barriers of poverty for our entire community.  Currently, we have four groups meeting at the following locations:

Monday at 4:00pm

Tuesday at 7:00pm

and two groups meeting Wednesdays at 7:00pm

When physical distancing procautions are lifted we will return to meeting together in the community.  

Required Qualifications/Training: 
Further along in your career
Attend Rethink Poverty or Bridges Out of Poverty Session
Ally Training (to be facilitated after interview)
Skills Preferred:
