Habitat's Salvage Crew

To stock our ReStores we rely on the generous donations of materials from individual donors. Our Salvage Crew travels to customers’ homes in the local neighborhood to remove and disassemble home furnishings such as kitchens, bathrooms, doors, windows, appliances etc. This in turn can be sold in our ReStores.

What you need to know

  • Must be a minimum of 18 years old.
  • Must have proof of double vaccination. 
  • Must be able to provide two references- Can be either personal or professional.
  • Must be available for a morning shift during the week.
  • CSA green triangle steel footwear is mandatory. All other safety equipment is provided.
  • Please note this position requires being able to stand, bend, kneel, climb, and pull on a frequent basis.
  • Have experience in at least one of the following areas – general handy person, construction knowledge, familiarity with household products and fixtures.

Additional Opportunity Information:
