(S.W.I.M.) is a non-profit charitable organization in London, Ontario that has been in operation since 2002. Our organization was started by our executive director and founder, Ann-Marie Ricketts, who was at the time a single mother herself. S.W.I.M. provides empowerment and childcare programs to single mothers who may be facing marginalization, barriers to employment, and living in poverty.

We are currently looking for an Information Technology Coordinator to join our team. We need someone who


I.T. Coordinator will be in charge of:

  • Maintaining our information technology systems and networks
  • Providing advice on the most suitable I.T. choices
  • Providing technical support or training for systems and networks
  • Creating a functional and aesthetically pleasing website
  • Perform troubleshooting, repairs, and data restoration
  • Collaborate with other volunteers to maintain standards and functionality of website
  • Act as link between end users and higher level support




Skills and Requirements: 

  • Experience as an IT Coordinator or a similar role
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Knowledgeable in IT systems and applications
  • Adaptable
  • Great attention to detail
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair issues
  • Self-motivated
  • Ability to multi-task
