The Role

  • JA is seeking Mentors in the fields of engineering, technology, human resources, healthcare, and other career fields for JA World of Choices.
We are looking for leaders in a multitude of career fields to be able to speak and engage with highschool students.

Highschool students often find themselves thinking; What does a person in that position actually do? What is their life like? These and others are the questions that many high school students are asking.

Students are confused, excited, and optimistic, and they can’t wait to jump into an amazing job! A chance to hear from a career mentor who has their dream job could help alleviate some of the stress that goes along with making important decisions about the future.

Each mentor will virtually speak to a group of students from various secondary schools in the area and may have selected their industries of interest before the event. If you would like to view a similar JA World of Choices Event please vist here.

Please note not all who apply may be selected for JA World of Choices based on programming needs for career fields. JA South Western Ontario has multiple volunteer opportunities and we encourage you to consider them here.
Thank you, we look forward to recieving your application.
