TITLE OF POSITION: Mission Store– Cashier

LOCATION/PROGRAM: Mission Store 797 York Street

DESCRIPTION OF ASSIGNMENT: Process customer purchases, bag and wrap items.


  • Interacting with Customers in a friendly manner
  • Handling cash and processing transactions

QUALIFICATIONS: Must be at least 18 years of age and provide Mission Services of London with a police record check. Punctuality, attention to detail, cooperativeness, organization, ability to follow direction and adherence to safety guidelines are imperative. Must be comfortable handling money and working in customer service. Dress code and other professional standards must be adhered to. Confidentiality expected. No experience necessary

SCHEDULE: Minimum 3-4 hours, once per week

LENGTH OF COMMITEMENT: Minimum of 6 months

STAFF SUPERVISOR: Front of Store Manager/Store Manager


  • Orientation to be completed prior to start date.
  • Specific job training will done on site
  • Must wear closed toe shoes – no work boots needed
  • You may be asked to participate in further training
