The New Vision Advocates (NVA) are a group of self-advocates who work to build a voice and presence in the community for people who have developmental disabilities. Through speaking engagements at schools, community groups, conferences, meetings with government officials, they educate the community on their underlying message:  a strong community is an inclusive community.

The NVA is now looking for volunteers to help support the group in achieving their goals of educating the community through awareness campaigns. The group meets twice monthly on Tuesdays from 5-8pm. A volunteer would support in planning, organizing and hosting fundraising events, coordinating presentations and educational events.

If you believe, as the NVA do, that all people should have equal rights, then this is the role for you!
