Relay For Life Video Introduction

There is a wonderful opportunity to create a meaningful event in your community that celebrates those who have lived, are living, and moving past cancer. The Canadian Cancer Society Relay For Life event brings neighbors, friends, and community influencers together, united by the common goal of creating a world where no Canadian fears cancer. The experience of cheering on survivors, walking the track, and joining in a range of trackside activities at Relay For Life (RFL) creates an unforgettable evening!

 Marketing/Public Relations Lead

As the Marketing/Public Relations Lead, you are excited and motivated to be part of an event that fundraises to support cancer research and services for those living with cancer.  Your background in marketing and social media promotion will be an asset. You are a self-starter ready to support Relay For Life through marketing and promotion efforts with the goal of recruiting new participants, raising awareness of this fundraiser in the community, and managing external relationships.

The committee will meet regularly over the course of the year, with increasing commitments as the event approaches. Each committee member will have their own portfolio but will share a passion for the mission: to provide the opportunity for those affected by cancer to come together and draw support while raising funds for critical, life-saving cancer research and programs.

Interested? Would you like to know more?
