Are you looking for a meaningful volunteer opportunity in your community?

Join LEADS' Youth Leadership Development program serving Middlesex, Elgin, Perth, Oxford and Lambton Counties to see how our Youth Coaches can help you to reach your goals!

Always on the cutting edge and innovative in serving our communities, LEADS Employment Services has been providing specialized employment and skills development services for people with disabilities and / or barriers since 1986. We are currently seeking dynamic, energetic and creative volunteers to join our Youth Leadership Development Program.

If you’re between the ages of 15-30, you can volunteer as a Youth Leader or a Youth Mentee:

Youth Leadersare mentors who support and coach youth with disabilities. No previous experience required.  LEADS creates an Individualized Learning Plan and provides skills development training and coaching supports at local non-profit agencies in your community.  Volunteer placements can help develop life and work-related skills, add practical experience to your resume, and/or prepare you for a career in the social service sector.

Youth Menteesare individuals with disabilities or barriers who might benefit from assistance to develop skills and engage with their communities. Interested in animals? Let's look for a volunteer placement at an animal shelter. Interested in fashion? Maybe a donation centre would work for you. LEADS' Youth Coaches will get to know you, develop an Individualized Learning Plan to identify your goals, and obtain a placement that matches your interests.
