Do you know how to play the guitar?

Do want to help youth learn the basics of playing the guitar?

Investing in Children is looking for a few volunteers who know how to play the guitar to assist our Guitar Program Co-ordinator during our Free Youth Guitar Program. 

The commitment would be 1.5 hours weekly. The guitar volunteers would help students tune their guitars and help the instructor with other aspects of set up and delivery of the class.

The program is a free introductory guitar class for students in grade 7 to 10 and is held for 10 weeks at local Family Centres. 

Our next session began on April 16 and is being held:

Tuesdays 4-5 p.m. at Family Centre White Oaks, 565 Bradley Ave, London - starts Tuesday, April 16th
Wednesdays 4-5 p.m. at Family Centre Carling-Thames, 335 Belfield St, London - starts Wednesday, April 17th
Thursdays 4-5 p.m. at Family Centre Fox Hollow, 2435 Buroak Dr, London - starts Thursday, April 18th
We are looking for one to two volunteers per location who would love to help students learn to play the guitar!
Required Qualifications/Training: 
Able to play and tune the guitar
Skills Preferred: 
Enjoy working with youth
