Sponsorship/Fundraising Volunteer

Volunteers on our Fundraising team will be responsible for all things relating to generating funding for the programs of the London Community Resource Centre (LCRC). This would include: 

Sponsorships: establishing connections with businesses/companies with interests that align with LCRC’s mission, and secure sponsorships for our Grow Cook Learn program, our Community Garden, and other projects of LCRC. 

Volunteer for Walk and Wheel on July 20th at Greenway Park

The ILCLA's 15th annual walk/wheel-a-thon fundraiser is coming up on Saturday, June 20th at Greenway Park in London. We encourage everyone to get involved in whatever way you can! But, we especially need volunteers to help everything run smoothly on the day of the event. 

Volunteers may be responsible for:

-assisting with set up on the morning of the event (eg. tables, tens, prize displays, barbeque etc.)

-managing the halfway point activity (eg. taking pictures, passing out water etc.)

-walking the route and helping participants along the way, if necessary

Festival Volunteer

Home County Music and Art Festival, Victoria Park, July 19-21, 2019

Volunteers are the backbone of Home County and we need you to help with production, merchandise sales, info tent, eco-stations, and more. Have fun! Make new friends. Get involved in teh 46th edition of the Festival.

Give a minimum of 9 hours over the weekend, select your preferred shifts and assignments.

No experience required. Age 14 or older may apply. We support individuals requiring support or assistance as a result of a disability or other challenges.

PwC MS Bike Event Volunteers

We are looking for volunteers to fill several positions for our 29th annual PwC MS Bike - Grand Bend to London happening July 27th and 28th!

We have a wide variety of positions available ranging from food preparation, event setup/tear down, check-in and much more! You can volunteer in London, Grand Bend or at various rest stops in between.

Young Professional Advisory Committee Volunteers

Are you a young professional, out of full-time school, who is a self-starter and collaborates well with peers? Do you want to network with change-makers in your community, while helping Make-A-Wish create life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses? You’re invited to join Make-A-Wish Southwestern Ontario’s Young Professional Advisory Committee (YPAC)! YPAC is a volunteer committee of innovative and influential young leaders from across Southwestern Ontario, working to advance the mission of Make-A-Wish by raising funds and serving as ambassadors. 

BINGO Fundraising Event Volunteer

The London Community Resource Centre hosts Charity Bingo events on a monthly basis at the Forest City Bingo Country located at 1106 Dearness Drive. The funds raised from Bingo directly benefit the operations of our organization.

Volunteers would assist with selling Bingo cards to participants, keeping track of money coming in and going out for prizes, and managing the shutterboard games during intermission.
