Pillar Nonprofit Network is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors that provides strategic leadership and oversight to ensure the organization stays true to its mission and serves the community effectively. The Board sets strategic priorities, oversees financial stewardship, and holds ultimate accountability for Pillar's operations, while delegating day-to-day management to the CEO and staff. Strong governance matters in the nonprofit sector because organizations like Pillar hold public trust: donors, funders, members, and the broader community rely on sound oversight to know their support is being used responsibly and effectively. Our Board members bring diverse expertise and community perspective to that responsibility.
