Sustainable Fashion Week Canada
Sustainable Fashion Week Canada (SFWC) is a registered nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing sustainability, ethics, and social responsibility within Canada’s fashion and textile industry. SFWC serves as a national platform that connects designers, artisans, students, educators, policymakers, and consumers to reimagine fashion through circular, regenerative, and community-centred approaches.
Through inclusive fashion weeks, educational programming, community events, and knowledge-sharing initiatives, SFWC amplifies underrepresented voices, including women-led, newcomer, Indigenous, and BIPOC-owned businesses. The organization prioritizes accessibility, transparency, and environmental stewardship while addressing systemic issues such as textile waste, labour inequities, and overconsumption.
SFWC bridges creativity with impact by fostering collaboration between industry and community, supporting skills development for youth and emerging professionals, and promoting practical pathways toward ethical production and responsible consumption. By combining storytelling, education, and measurable action, Sustainable Fashion Week Canada is building a more equitable, resilient, and sustainable fashion ecosystem across Canada.
