April 2026 League Event: Edible Neighbourhoods

Edible Neighbourhoods

Imagine if our yards, parks, and boulevards were overflowing with vegetables and fruits! And people worked together to make sure that no one went hungry!

Join Community Activator and Urban Agrarian Gabor Sass for a workshop on how residents of Kensington Village have created places and practices around the growing and sharing of food in their community. You’ll learn about similar projects around the city and around the world and be given practical advice to start your own Edible Neighbourhood!

Presentation from 7:00–8:00pm. League business begins at 8:00pm.

Please note pre-registration is not required. If the event shows “sold out” please feel free to still attend.

Attendance will be taken via a sign-in sheet. Non-members are welcome.
