Why This Event Matters
Since 2024, The Big Picture has brought together nonprofits, community leaders, advocates, researchers, public sector workers and policymakers to explore collective solutions to the challenges facing London-Middlesex.
This year's event arrives at a pivotal moment. With London's municipal election on October 26 and a new four-year Council term ahead, the community and the nonprofit sector have a real opportunity to shape how we work together.
Municipal candidates have been invited to attend and connect with guests informally. This isn't a candidate speaking program, but a chance to meet the people running in your community. Candidates, in turn, will gain a better understanding of what the sector and community are navigating and how they can be stronger partners.
Why Focus on the Next Four Years?
Municipal elections are often treated as a finish line. This year, we're treating October 26 as a starting point. Together, we'll explore:
