Clean-Up Day

Once the snow is melted and as the grass begins to turn green, you know spring has sprung! Help Fanshawe Pioneer Village shake off the cobwebs during Clean-Up Day on Saturday, April 27th from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

We’re inviting the whole family to come out and join us for spring cleaning! Help us rake the lawns and open our buildings as we prepare for a special milestone, Fanshawe Pioneer Village’s 60th anniversary! Bring along your rake, broom, favorite duster and lunch. This is a rain or shine event and no admission is charged. Participants will be provided with a BBQ supper at the end of the day.

Always wondered about volunteering at the Village? Clean-Up Day is a great opportunity to come find out about the volunteer opportunities offered at Fanshawe Pioneer Village! Drop in to see us on April 27th and we’ll be happy to talk to you about volunteering with us.

Have a high school student looking to complete some community service hours? Join us and get a couple hours in while spending time outdoors!

To reach Fanshawe Pioneer Village, enter through the Fanshawe Conservation Area, at 1424 Clarke Road.

If you would like to participate and to RSVP for the BBQ, contact Alison at programming@fanshawepioneervillage.ca or 519-457-1296 x 811!
