Celebrating Equity Champion, Dharshi Lacey
As many of you know, Dharshi Lacey, Vice President of Equity, Inclusion and Governance, is leaving her role with Pillar Nonprofit Network for an exciting opportunity in Kelowna, BC. This move presents a new challenge in her career and a chance for her to be closer to family. Dharshi has accepted a position as the inaugural Director of Inclusion, Diversity, Equity & Anti-Racism at the University of British Columbia, Okanagan Campus, starting June 1, 2023. After 36 years in London’s nonprofit sector, 8 of which at Pillar, Dharshi is leaving a lasting legacy.
The Pillar team would like to invite friends and colleagues in the community to celebrate Dharshi and to express gratitude for being a champion and catalyst for change. Join us at Innovation Works on May 9 anytime from 8:30 am - 10:30 am.

In celebration of her remarkable contribution to this community, we are also excited to announce that Pillar Nonprofit Network will establish a charitable fund to help support organizations central to the work she has dedicated herself to for almost four decades.
The Dharshi Lacey Catalyst Fund
The Dharshi Lacey Catalyst Fund will support equity-deserving groups with complimentary meeting and workspace at Innovation Works to foster opportunities to convene around complex issues. As many of you know, Dharshi has spent decades leading transformative work in the areas of equity, anti-oppression and justice. This fund will ensure that her impact in our community endures for years to come.
