Connecting Nonprofit Boards with Skilled CPAs -
We hear it constantly at Pillar: "We need someone who actually understands our financials on this board." It comes up in strategic planning sessions, in coaching conversations, in hallway chats after governance workshops — nonprofits across our region are looking for qualified, finance-savvy people to join their boards, and they don't always know where to find them.
So we built an event to answer that call directly.
This is a two-hour, in-person opportunity to put your organization in a room with local CPAs who are actively looking for a board to join. Not a job fair. Not a mixer where everyone stands around a cheese plate wondering what to say. A genuinely structured space for nonprofit leaders and finance professionals to have real conversations about mission fit, board culture, and what your organization actually needs from a financial governance perspective.
You'll come away with a clearer sense of what to look for in a board candidate with financial expertise, direct connections with CPAs who are ready to serve, and a few honest conversations that might turn into your next great board member.
