Join SDG Cities for a virtual lunch and learn to share stories and strategies for how the principles and values of sustainable development can become a driving force in your small business or social enterprise.

Guest speakers Simone Weinstein from The Conscious Kitchen and Aaron Lawrence from London Brewing Co-Operative will share insights about how they are building sustainability into their business models for long lasting success and meaningful social impact.

We will also share about new funding, training and coaching opportunities available to small businesses through SDG Cities, Harvest Impact and the Circular Opportunity Innovation Launchpad (COIL)

SDG CITIES PROGRAM

This event is part of the SDG Cities Program. In collaboration with 10C Shared Space in Guelph, SDG Cities: A holistic approach to activating SDGs in mid-sized communities for long-term impacts.

The UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) put forward by the United Nations in the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development have been at the heart of much of the work of both 10C and Pillar Nonprofit, and their respective members, since their beginnings.

SDG Cities will enable these two mid-size cities, London and Guelph, to increase the number of people and organizations actively using and contributing to the SDGs. Through knowledge-sharing, story-telling and community connection, this project will help to increase awareness of SDGs within these communities and share ideas about how these can be incorporated into existing and future structures and networks, working toward longterm systems change.

SDG Cities is funded by the Government of Canada’s Sustainable Development Goals Program.
