ED/CEO Support Network
A lifeline for nonprofit leaders
Launched in 2020, the ED/CEO Support Network has become an indispensable resource for senior nonprofit leaders. Pillar Nonprofit Network created this monthly facilitated event to address the unique challenges faced by these individuals and foster connection, learning, and collaboration.
Why join the network?
-
Reduce isolation: Connect with peers in a safe and supportive environment.
-
Enhance learning: Share experiences and learn from both peers and external experts.
-
Strengthen knowledge: Access best practices, innovative approaches, and sector insights.
-
Advocate for change: Discuss strategies for policy and systems advocacy.
-
Identify opportunities: Collaborate on initiatives, joint ventures, and new models of working together.
-
Support professional development: Participate in targeted learning opportunities for leaders and their teams.
How it works
The ED/CEO Support Network thrives on the collective input of its members. The content of each session is shaped by the feedback and priorities of the active participants, ensuring that the discussions remain relevant and focused on real-world challenges.
To support this member-driven approach, Pillar Nonprofit Network ensures that each session features a subject-matter expert who is available as a resource. These experts don’t deliver lectures but are on hand to answer questions and provide guidance tailored to the topics the group has identified as most pressing. This creates a dynamic, collaborative space where members can lead the conversation, solve challenges together, and gain actionable insights.
-
Monthly facilitated sessions: Engage in rich discussions and hands-on activities, both in-person and virtual.
-
Well-being check-ins: Prioritize mental health and create a culture of mutual support.
-
Resource sharing: Access curated tools and materials to strengthen your leadership.
-
Community agreements: Commit to maintaining a respectful, inclusive, and confidential space.
-
Collaboration: Experiment with joint initiatives and partnerships.
Additional benefits
-
Networking and relationship building: Strengthen ties within the nonprofit sector and beyond.
-
Mentorship opportunities: Benefit from peer mentoring, reverse mentoring, and coaching.
-
Shared services: Explore bulk purchasing and resource-sharing initiatives.
-
Sector-wide engagement: Participate in interactions with funders, clients, and other key stakeholders.
By joining the ED/CEO Support Network, you’ll gain invaluable insights, build lasting relationships, and contribute to a stronger, more collaborative nonprofit sector—all while having a direct influence on the topics and issues addressed in each session.
