Our 3rd keynote speaker will be Derek Satnik, who is the VP of Technology, Smart Communities (s2e Technologies) and will be speaking on "Top Trends in Housing” Eve Park London, at our new venue, Best Western Plus Lamplighter Inn and Conference Centre. It is also the day we will be holding our Artisans’ Holiday Market for 2025!
Derek Satnik is a recognized expert in net-zero energy communities and all the tools that make them possible: technical, financial, and policy related. Derek has been awarded 18 times for leadership in this industry, municipally through internationally, and is one of the key authors/contributors behind all of Canada’s green building programs including LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design), Built Green, Solar Ready, Net-Zero, updates to ENERGY STAR, Ontario’s Building Code, Ontario’s Green Energy and Green Economy Act, and now net-zero energy housing.
Derek has supervised energy related projects on over 45,000,000 square feet of various building types, and as the Vice President of Technology for s2e’s Smart Communities division, he now leads net-zero energy community projects across North America.
Derek is proud to have played a key leadership role in the development of West 5 with Sifton Properties, and now also with EVE Park, both here in London.
