What do you want people to know about how you or your organization is creating change in our community?
The FCFF not only serves as a vibrant festival for film lovers, but it also brings filmmakers and industry professionals from around the region to London and helps give Southwestern Ontario a distinctive voice.By drawing filmmakers, industry professionals, and cinephiles, the Forest City Film Festival bolsters London’s creative economy—boosting local tourism, spending, and long-term investment in the arts.
Through our Best of the World Fests (BOWF) program, the Forest City Film Festival gives audiences the chance to experience award-winning and Oscar-buzz films from Cannes, TIFF, Sundance, and other major festivals—before they’re in theatres or on streaming platforms. You don’t have to travel to Toronto or board a plane to see world-class cinema; we bring these once-in-a-lifetime screenings right to Southwestern Ontario.
Before 2019, young creatives in SWO high schools had nowhere to shine. Now, thanks to the Forest City Youth Film Festival, they’ve got a stage, a spotlight, and a shot at being crowned the best youth filmmakers in Ontario.
The Forest City Film Festival is a catalyst for London's film industry, driving job creation, attracting investment, and fostering a vibrant creative community.
By providing a platform for emerging filmmakers and industry professionals, FCFF contributes to a sustainable and thriving local film sector, while showcasing London and Southwestern Ontario as a desirable and dynamic location for film production.
