Type Diabeat-it : A Journey to Community Change

Since 2018, Type Diabeat-It has focused on addressing diabetes risks in BIPOC communities. During the pandemic, Mystery was looking for space where she could hold cooking classes. Pillar Nonprofit Network was glad to offer Mystery use of the second floor kitchen and flex desk space at Innovation Works. Membership allowed Mystery to make many connections, and shortly after developed a partnership with the London Food Bank to start London's first Black community garden.
