Consider becoming a board or committee member for the London Heritage Foundation!
On the whole, learning to participate as a board member, taking on the lead or participating on a committee offers you the chance to try new skills and talents. The role offers networking opportunities, the ability to learn from established volunteers, and the opportunity to take on responsibilities that are usually only offered to senior levels in corporations. A board role can really expand your horizons both socially and professionally.
As a charity, HLF has the unique advantage of having very well established “social enterprises” and staff that generates at least 95% of our annual income. We are engaged with our members and the public, but not reliant on them for our financial stability.
HLF is a dynamic group that manages two important cultural heritage estates in the City of London by making them accessible for use to the public. We also play a role in supporting and partnering with other organizations across Middlesex County.
Heritage London Foundation supports and participates in the London Heritage Awards and the Doors Open event. In addition we offer a variety of tours and open house events providing Londoners with an opportunity to engage in our London estates.
Heritage London Foundation is looking for new members; We are seeking Board Members with history, conservation and museum management experience. Additionally Board Members with a background in education.
