1. We are looking for lawyers to provide pro bono family law or criminal law advice and support through our weekly legal clinic.  Lawyers are required to volunteer a minimum of one 2-hour session per month, although more frequent participation is encouraged.

2. We are looking to appoint one or more clerks to administer, facilitate and manage this service, to provide direct support to our lawyers and to liaise between clients and the lawyers on our team.  This position requires experience organizing groups as well as  good verbal and written skills. A background in the legal profession (lawyer, paralegal or student of law/paralegal) ideal but not required to be a clerk of the clinic.

Our legal clinic provides clients with resources, tools. guidance and information to assist in navigating the legal system.  The legal clinic does not provide legal representation.

The Canadian Centre for Men and Families is a unique new facility operating as a mental health and social service hub for boys, men, fathers and their families.  We provide free counselling and therapy, support groups, legal assistance, mentorship, father involvement programs and services for victims of domestic abuse.  Visit our website at
