We work with people from 35+ different countries. Join us to volunteer, heardifferent languages, learn more about what it’s like to settle in Canada, and help us make our community stronger and more inclusive!
Our Canada Connects program matches mentors with newcomers to Canada. Through informal one-by-one conversation, you can help newcomers build confidence in English and feel welcomed by the community. Fun, flexible scheduling and enriching connection guaranteed!
Time commitment: 1 hour once a week or once every two weeks for 6 months
Who are we?
Founded in 2002, by a group of local youth, the Northwest London Resource Centre proudly serves Northwest London as a community connector, hub for youth programming and advocate for the needs of the neighbourhood. Located near Sherwood Forest Mall, we welcome and accompany newcomers, seniors, youth, families, and others, through our settlement, youth and support services.
