Mission Services of London is a non-profit social service agency dedicated to serving residents of London and Middlesex County with compassion and dignity. Mission Store of Mission Services of London has an opening for a full-time Customer Service Representative position. This position supports the day-to-day operations of the store by assisting customers, processing purchases, receiving donations, and helping to keep the store clean and organized. The Customer Service Representative reports to the Store Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure every customer receives outstanding service by maintaining a friendly and welcoming environment.
- Assist with the organization, storage, and efficient flow of donated goods.
- Replenish merchandise, monitor floor stock levels, and process incoming donations.
- Direct customers to locate merchandise and provide assistance as needed.
- Process cash, credit, and debit transactions using a Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Support customers in the fitting room area, providing assistance as required.
- Maintain the overall cleanliness and appearance of the store.
Qualifications:
- Minimum one year of experience in retail and/or customer service.
- Experience working in a non-profit or thrift retail environment is considered an asset.
- Dependable with strong organizational skills.
- A good listener, communicator and team player.
- Sensitive to the life circumstances of clients.
Position Details:
- Full time – 40 hours per week
- Compensation: $19.50 per hour
