Forest City Healing Centre (FCHC) is a men’s residential addiction treatment centre located in London, Ontario. FCHC provides structured residential recovery programming within a supportive, accountability-focused, and recovery-centered environment grounded in dignity, compassion, consistency, and community care.

Operating from a restored historic building with a 20-bed capacity, the Centre integrates evidence-informed recovery programming, psychoeducation, relapse prevention, peer support, emotional regulation, life-skills development, and individualized care planning within a therapeutic residential setting.

Position Summary

Forest City Healing Centre is seeking a Program Director to oversee the delivery, coordination, and continuous improvement of its residential recovery programming.

This leadership role combines clinical oversight, team leadership, operational accountability, and program development within a structured residential treatment environment.

The successful candidate will support program consistency, guest care, staff development, and long-term recovery outcomes while ensuring the program operates in alignment with organizational values, evidence-informed practices, and regulatory expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee residential recovery programming and day-to-day program operations
• Provide leadership and supervision to counsellors and frontline staff
• Support treatment planning, case management, and discharge coordination
• Maintain program quality, documentation standards, and operational consistency
• Support staff development, supervision, and training
• Facilitate team meetings, supervision processes, and case reviews
• Support crisis response procedures and safety planning
• Build and maintain relationships with community and referral partners
• Represent Forest City Healing Centre professionally within the community and sector as needed

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in social work, psychology, addictions counselling, mental health, or related discipline
• Minimum 5 years of experience within addiction treatment, residential recovery, or mental health services
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Experience working within residential or inpatient recovery environments
• Strong understanding of evidence-informed addiction treatment approaches and recovery programming
• Registration or eligibility for registration with a relevant Ontario professional college considered an asset
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Commitment to ethical, respectful, and recovery-focused practice

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within men’s residential treatment programming
• Experience supporting abstinence-based and/or Twelve-Step-oriented recovery environments
• Lived experience with recovery (personal or familial) is valued and respected
• Familiarity with community referral networks in the London, Ontario region
