Make a Meaningful Difference in the Lives of People with Developmental Disabilities

The Alice Saddy Association is seeking ONE volunteer Board Member to join our Board of Directors.

Since 1973, The Alice Saddy Association has supported people with developmental disabilities and their families to live full, meaningful lives in their communities. We are a non-profit, charitable organization dedicated to promoting dignity, inclusion, belonging, and opportunities for people to live their best lives as valued and contributing members of the community.

Serving on our Board is an opportunity to use your skills, experience, and voice to make a meaningful impact. As a Board Member, you will help provide governance leadership, support strategic direction, and contribute to the long-term strength and sustainability of the organization.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is passionate about inclusion, dignity, belonging, and community
  • Brings enthusiasm, creativity, and a positive outlook
  • Enjoys working collaboratively as part of a team
  • Can contribute thoughtful leadership and sound judgment
  • Is interested in supporting organizational growth, sustainability, fundraising, and community outreach
  • Believes that people with developmental disabilities should have opportunities to live their best lives as valued members of the community

Previous experience in nonprofit governance, finance, law, healthcare, education, human services, fundraising, or community advocacy is considered an asset, but a strong commitment to our mission is most important.

Commitment The ideal candidate can commit to a four-year term, attend regular monthly Board meetings, and participate in committee work or special initiatives as needed.
