About us:

Progressive Animal Welfare Services (PAWS) is a volunteer-based charity organization dedicated to helping disadvantaged and in-crisis people access veterinary care to keep their animal companions safe, healthy, and in their loving arms. We know that animal companions support the physical and mental health of humans.

PAWS programs:

  • Are directly accessible to applicants including in-crisis populations and agency representatives.
  • Help prevent downstream costs and issues by reducing the load on animal shelters/rescues/control and the community impacts of unwanted births and spread of disease.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee setup, operations, and breakdown of mobile clinics.
  • Recruit, schedule, and manage volunteers for events.
  • Troubleshoot operational issues as they arise.
  • Coordinate closely with the Mobile Clinic Coordinator and other teams to ensure smooth execution.
  • Track clinic outcomes and provide operational feedback for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Experience managing events or projects preferred.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
  • Commitment to community service and animal welfare.

Commitment:

  • Term - Minimum 6 months
  • 3 to 5 hours per week (depending on clinic schedule)
  • Attendance at meetings as necessary
