We are seeking individuals to assist unit staff by offering emotional support to patients and their families while they or their loved one are receiving end-of-life care.
Duties will include: taking patients for walks, or reading books or playing music for patients, assisting staff with various unit area tasks (as requested), sitting, listening and chatting with patients and family members.

ability to be respectful of others' feelings, values and beliefs, good communication and listening skills, emotional stability (no major crisis or lifestyle changes within the last year)
