Parkwood Institute offers resident Veterans access to a dedicated on-site pub that provides a social, community-oriented environment with both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage options. Volunteer bartenders are currently being recruited to support this space by serving beverages, monitoring appropriate consumption, and engaging Veterans in respectful, meaningful conversation to enhance their overall experience.
Required Qualifications/Training:
Training provided, have Smart Serve certification or willing to complete Smart Serve Program
Skills Preferred:
ability to follow rules, policies and procedures for the operation of the bar as stated under the Liquor Control Act of Ontario, good interpersonal skills, ability to work well with others, good communication skills, ability to reconcile cash, reliable
