The London Children’s Museum is looking for an outgoing, fun, and enthusiastic Gallery Attendant who has no hesitation in approaching families and engaging in playful experiences.

Working with the Visitor Experience staff, the volunteer will contribute to the daily experience of the museum space as well as assist in the development and delivery of outstanding child and family-centred programs and events.

Position(s): 4-40 hours per week. Shifts may include daytime, weekend, evening, and holidays based on availability. 

Required Qualifications/Training: 
Minimum 14 years of age
If above 18 years of age, a Valid Vulnerable Sector Screening (police check) must be submitted
Skills Preferred: 
Enthusiasm for hands-on, experiential learning
Interest or expertise in the area(s) of heritage, art, history, culture, science, and/or education
Previous experience working with children and families
Desire to work in a child and family-centred environment
Excellent time management skills and ability to work both independently and with a team
Strong verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills
