Thames Valley Education Foundation
The Thames Valley Education Foundation (TVEF) is a registered charitable organization, established in 2001, affiliated with the Thames Valley District School Board. It is an independent entity governed by its own Board of Directors. The Foundation works to build partnerships with the community that will enhance opportunities in our schools and enrich public education.
Funding for the Foundation comes from local businesses, grants, community organizations and concerned citizens who wish to support our District's tradition of excellence. We believe that public education is a collective responsibility of the entire community. We all have a stake in building successful schools.
School boards receive provincial funding for core programs. However, there are many valuable opportunities that exist beyond these core programs that require urgent and special funding.The Thames Valley Education Foundation seeks to make such opportunities available by building a funding base for a wide variety of special projects and special learning opportunities.
