ROSE Land Care Association
ROSE is a land trust (1991) that owns 200 acres. ROSE is committed:
-
To hold the farm land in trust for agricultural purposes in perpetuity, safe from private ownership and subject only to uses which are ecologically sound and economically non-speculative.
-
To assist other groups and projects which directly or indirectly promote the objects, including research, publication, education and the establishment, development and maintenance of land trusts.
-
To make the farm a centre of social, therapeutic and educational activities that bring rural and urban communities together and on developing a greater awareness of the "land" in school students and others.
-
To practice and promote bio-dynamic principles and practices while collectively stewarding land, water, soil, and ecosystems for the benefit of all people and species, now and into the future.
