Homegrown Society is a grassroots initiative that engages neighborhoods in environmental stewardship through land-based workshops and events. By empowering individuals with the skills to engage in stewardship in their own neighborhoods, Homegrown Society aims to create a network of stewards that address environmental concerns at the neighborhood level. This initiative is part of a global effort to prevent, halt and reverse the degradation of ecosystems during the United Nations Decade on Ecosystem Restoration.
