Eaman Fahmy

Eaman Fahmy, Inclusive Program Designer

Eaman Fahmy is a long-time community organizer who believes in the power of nurturing relationships and trust. She has a passion for anti-racism/anti-oppression work, and recognizes the value to this work of a self-reflective practice. She applies the lens of decoloniality to her work, and acknowledges that the hardest part of decoloniality is decolonizing one's mind.

Eaman has a background in both Economics and International Relations, with a Diploma from Western Continuing Studies in Not-for-profit Management. She has worked in media, education and government, all in roles that center social justice. She is a champion of the arts and gets particularly excited when art is combined with activism.
