Established in August 2017, the Bonjour Café is London, Ontario’s first café founded and operated by individuals with intellectual disabilities. From its opening until March 2020, the café welcomed guests every Thursday from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm at the L’Arche London Gathering Place in Lambeth, offering both training opportunities and a space for social connection. After a 4-year pause due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Bonjour Café is set to reopen on Thursday, August 22nd, 2024, and will continue to operate every Thursday thereafter.
