Social Media Management for the Community Impact Sector 2023

Does trying to manage all your social media accounts feel like running on a hamster wheel that never stops? Do you struggle to find the time to manage your social media engagement and think of creative content? Are you grappling with which platforms are mission aligned for you at this time? Do you ever wonder how you can make social media work more effectively for your organization?

Nonprofit and social enterprise organizations are often run by small teams and volunteers, with resources and budgets stretched thin.  With organic reach plummeting in favour of ad dollars, you may be wondering how to optimize your efforts. Perhaps you are following along, having conversations and questioning what social media platforms align with your mission. Organizations need to keep a pulse on social media news and updates in order to use platforms effectively to showcase their mission, find donors and tell their story.

The rTraction team wants to show you that with some strategy that includes planning, execution and reporting, social media can be an effective marketing tool. By doing the upfront work you can receive a drastic boost in authentic engagement with your online community, productivity can skyrocket, improve consistency and then move to measurement and improvement. They want to share with you the tips and tricks so that you can move managing social media from being a problem to something you look forward to.

In this workshop we will discuss:

  • Social media tools and resources available

  • Learn how to set up your nonprofit social media strategy for success

  • Get your message out and make every effort count with timesaving tips

About rTraction Canada, Inc.

rTraction Canada, Inc. is a Certified B Corporation and award-winning digital services agency.

Incorporated in July 2001, they started as a team of coders that built websites and applications to help clients get their messaging out. From early on, they worked alongside social purpose organizations (nonprofits, social enterprises, and for profits that do good), helping those that provide impact to do what they do best while we focused on solving the technical problems, from hosting to websites to systems behind the scenes. Like any digital agency, they know their way around technology and we believe in returning good value to our clients.
