James Chan, Manager, VERGE Capital
James works with people, places, and partnerships to foster civic participation, promote equitable urbanism, and grow our social economy. As the Manager of VERGE Capital, a program of Pillar Nonprofit Network, James oversees VERGE's operations that support local economies and communities across Southwestern Ontario by investing in social enterprises that put people and planet first. James also serves on the Board of Directors for TREC/Tapestry Community Capital and Inspirit Foundation, and is a past member of London Community Foundation's social finance committee.
