Overview
Working closely with the Director of Philanthropy and Philanthropy Officer, you will provide essential administrative support to our philanthropy and grants teams, helping to create the best experience for our fundholders and ensure the smooth operation of our donor and volunteer engagement activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Director of Philanthropy and Philanthropy Officer with day-to-day administrative tasks, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and handling correspondence.
- Assist with stewardship activities such as thank you acknowledgements, donor recognition, and fund statement mailings.
- Support the Grants Officer with the Donor Advised and Donor Designated granting processes, providing administrative assistance to ensure consistency, efficiency, and clear communication within the team.
- Work with the Grants Officer and the Philanthropy Officer to share acknowledgments from grantees to donors.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in our donor management system, including managing donor records, changes of address, and other day-to-day data maintenance, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
- Work with the Philanthropy Officer and Database Administrator to support online and digital tools for donors, providing exceptional customer support for fundholders and donors.
- Provide clerical support for the Donor Development Committee, including preparation of agendas, minute taking, and booking meetings.
- Assist in pulling, formatting, and preparing reports and presentations as needed.
- Assist with the logistics of donor activities and events, including managing invitations, coordinating with venues, managing RSVPs and managing registration.
- Work closely with the whole staff team to support various projects and initiatives, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
Qualifications
- a. Education and Experience
- University/college degree or equivalent experience in administration, customer service, and/or project management.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an administrative and/or customer service role, and/or equivalent volunteer experience in these areas.
- Experience using databases and standard Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel) or similar
- Experience in a non-profit organization is an asset.

Hours of Work
- Hybrid
- 37.5 hours per week, primarily during weekdays and, occasionally, evenings/weekends for special events.
- LCF does offer flexible work arrangements.
Location
- Office is in London’s vibrant Covent Garden Market and its employees work both on-site and remotely.

Compensation
- Salary:$45,000- $55,000, based on experience.
