Job Posting: Sales and Marketing Advisor (12-Month Contract)
WILL Employment Solutions is looking for a dynamic and motivated Sales and Marketing Advisor to help us generate new employer leads and successfully market our fee-for-service intercultural training program designed to help employers and local workplaces develop their cross-cultural skills and create more welcoming and diverse work environments.
Reporting to the WILL Immploy Team Lead for Employer Engagement, the successful candidate will have primary responsibility for marketing the Intercultural Competency Awareness Program (ICAP). This program consists of 4 workshop modules, providing participants with the skills, knowledge and awareness they need to work effectively and respectfully in diverse workplaces. This position includes working in close collaboration with the WILL Immploy Recruitment Team to generate new leads through proactive self-directed marketing efforts (including initiating cold calls); following up on warm leads generated; and reaching out to market the program to our well-established network of employer client contacts in workplaces throughout southwestern Ontario.
The successful applicant will be expected to conduct needs assessments with regional employers; have a working knowledge of the programs, services and supports available to them through the WILL Immploy team; and make appropriate referrals.
The successful candidate will also be expected to learn and deliver our ICAP training workshops as required to both small and large groups either in-person or online (or a combination of both) both on site and in workplaces throughout our region.
Relevant sales and marketing experience and/or comfort and experience in delivering workshops and training to adult learners is required. A valid driver’s license and reliable access to a vehicle is also a requirement of this position. Mileage will be reimbursed for all work-related travel.

WHO ARE YOU?
- 2-3 years experience in a Sales and/or marketing role.
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
- Comfort in facilitating workshops and presenting material to a group.
- A proven ability to interact and work effectively with people from different cultures and backgrounds.
- Good time management skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Professional demeanour and ability to handle confidential information.
- Knowledge of the regional labour market, local employment programs/ services, and employment and labour laws is an asset.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and experience with database systems to maintain data integrity.
- A valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation for regional outreach efforts and delivering of training.
- Knowledge and understanding of sales and marketing.
- Strong understanding of DEI, anti-racism, and anti-oppression concepts, with the ability to integrate these principles into training programs and recruitment efforts.
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), interpersonal skills and customer service skills.
